Why This Red Light Mask Is One of The Best Beauty Products I’ve Used … (And I’ve Tried a Few …)

In a former life I was a magazine editor. So, as someone who’s spent years compiling beauty pages, I’ve tested my fair share of lotions, potions and devices promising to nip, tuck and deliver professional results at home. Most of the time, the boasts are big but the benefits are basic. However, the Bon Charge Red Light Face Mask is different – a rare product where the hype does the heavy lifting .. but the results are real.

The first thing I noticed about the Bon Charge Red Light Face Mask the impeccable design. Crafted from soft, medical-grade silicone, it contours perfectly to the face, while the adjustable straps ensure it stays put. Even better, the light-blocking eye cups create a private cocoon, allowing you to truly zone out. It’s not just functional- it’s indulgent. The kind of small luxury that makes you feel pampered before you’ve even started.

Ultimate Skin Upgrade: Bon Charge Red Light Face Mask

The real magic lies in the technology. The mask is equipped with 240 high-quality LEDs, each calibrated to deliver precise wavelengths:

  • 630nm Red Light. This targets the upper layers of the skin, stimulating collagen production, smoothing fine lines, and restoring a healthy glow.
  • 850nm Near-Infrared Light. This penetrates deeper to support cellular regeneration, reduce inflammation, and aid recovery, leaving your skin feeling supple and rejuvenated.

The dual-light system is exactly what sets the Bon Charge mask apart from run-of-the-mill devices. It addresses both surface and deeper skin concerns in a single, elegant session.

Operating the mask is refreshingly simple. The small, intuitive controller lets you switch between red and near-infrared light, adjust intensity across three levels, and set a 30-minute timer. A full charge takes 3-4 hours, providing up to twelve sessions, making it effortless to incorporate into a beauty routine without fuss.

What impressed me most was the subtle, cumulative effect. After a few weeks, my skin feels firmer, more luminous and evenly toned. Redness is calmer, fine lines appear softer, and there’s a noticeable bounce that wasn’t there before. It’s a transformation that looks natural, yet unmistakably professional, the kind you hope for from high-end spa treatments but can rarely achieve at home.

Beyond the visible results, the mask also delivers on the experiential side. Sitting under its warm glow, the stress of the day melts away. There’s a meditative quality to the session that feels as luxurious as it is effective. It’s a rare combination in the world of at-home devices.

In short, for anyone serious about skin care, the Bon Charge Red Light Face Mask is an investment that delivers both visible improvements and the subtle indulgence of a personal spa experience.

How Often Should You Use a Red Light Face Mask?

Finding the Right Frequency for Your Skin Goals

The frequency with which you should use a red light face mask depends largely on your individual skin goals and desired outcomes. Red light therapy has gained popularity for its ability to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, promote an even skin tone, and support the skin’s natural healing processes. Better still, this is all without invasive treatments or lengthy recovery times.

  • General Recommendation: Many experts suggest using a red light face mask approximately 2–3 times per week for sessions of 10–15 minutes each. This is the routine I used and it has led to noticeable improvements such as a reduction in fine lines and a more even complexion within a few weeks of consistent use.
  • Adjusting for Your Goals: If your primary aim is to target stubborn wrinkles or significant pigmentation, you may benefit from slightly longer or more frequent sessions (up to 3–5 times per week), as tolerated by your skin. For general maintenance and a healthy glow, twice weekly can be sufficient.
  • Quick Results, Minimal Time Commitment: One of the standout benefits of red light therapy devices is the minimal time required to see visible changes. Unlike other treatments that demand 20–30 minutes per session, these masks are designed to deliver results in as little as 5–15 minutes, several times a week.
  • Consistency is Key: Regardless of your goals, the real secret is consistency. Improvements in skin texture, tone, and fine lines develop gradually with regular use, so building the mask into your existing skincare routine will help ensure lasting benefits.

Ultimately, start with reading the Bon Charge manual and always listen to your skin. Then make adjustments based on your own progress and comfort level. Remember, dramatic changes may take a few weeks to become apparent, but I found even the small improvements made my skin look and feel better and that gave me a confidence boost.

A Perfect Father’s Day Gift For The Dad Who Won’t Put The Volume Down While Watching YouTube Videos

A Perfect Father’s Day Gift For The Dad Who Won’t Put The Volume Down While Watching YouTube Videos

There are many things I love about my father. He is humble. He is kind. And, he makes an excellent wood-fired pizza (love you Dad!). But there’s no denying that his habit of watching YouTube videos at maximum volume can be more than slightly infuriating. His logic: he needs to pay attention to the grandkids (fair enough). And, he can’t stand itty bitty pods (Given he was born pre-1990, that one’s valid too). So were the Beats Studio Pro Wireless Headphones specifically made with Mr Senior Issa in mind? Well, probably not. But if over-ear headphones with lossless audio and Active Noise Cancellation fit, then let’s just say Dad was happy to wear them. Here’s everything you need to know that helped me finally enjoy a full episode of “Wednesday” in peace…

The Beats Studio Pro Wireless Headphones deliver Adaptive EQ that tunes sound in real time, fully adaptive Active Noise Cancellation that silences the chaos, and Transparency Mode so the user can hear what they need – like the grandkids shouting. And what they don’t (ie – my mother asking him to take out the bins).

The sound is mind-blowingly clear. Highs sparkle, mids are rich, and bass hits just right. Especially for a YouTube aficionado who has discovered just how many old-school Arabic telenovelas live on the platform. Did my father care that he was wearing an impressive headset where Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking adds a subtle cinematic effect? Meh. Probably not. But, could I see his eyes light up every time he tuned into another episode of Al Hayba? Yes. Yes I could.

Battery life on the Beats Studio Pro Wireless Headphones is impressively long: up to 40 hours total, or up to 24 hours when ANC or Transparency Mode is enabled. Fast Fuel gives 10 minutes of charge for up to four hours of playback. This means Dad can binge-watch for a week without needing to plug in. Charging is done via a sleek USB-C cable, which he called “fancy, very fancy.”

Calls are crystal clear thanks to upgraded voice-targeting microphones. The vacuum, the kids, the barking dog? Gone. Even Dad’s calls with relatives overseas now sound professional. He was genuinely impressed by how the headphones filter background noise while isolating his voice.

Comfort is another win. The Studio Pro are over-ear with UltraPlush cushions and adjustable sliders, making hours of listening effortless. Dad’s stubborn ears had no complaints. Venting and ergonomic design keep things airy and snug, perfect for marathon YouTube sessions.

Controls are clever. The “b” button lets Dad pause, skip, or answer calls, while simple volume presses sit above and below it. He can also just say “Hey Siri” when he’s in the mood to go hands-free. Adaptive EQ automatically tunes the sound based on fit, so every note comes through perfectly.

The Beats Studio Pro come in four colours: Black, Deep Brown, Navy, and Sandstone. Stylish enough for any dad, whether he’s blasting music or scrolling through his favourite playlists.

Finally, these headphones are environmentally conscious: packaging is 100% fibre-based, using recycled material and wood from sustainable forests. Even Dad, usually indifferent to sustainability, gave a reluctant nod of approval.

So, would I recommend the Beats Studio Pro Wireless Headphones for Father’s Day? Absolutely. Whether your dad is an audio obsessive, a multi-tasking grandparent, or just refuses to turn it down, these headphones deliver. Dad’s verdict: “Fancy, comfy, and makes everything sound incredible. I actually want to wear these.” And, for the first time in memory, he voluntarily turned down the YouTube volume.

Happy Father’s Day Dad!

LinkedIn Report: What’s the Secret to Thriving in the Age of AI?

LinkedIn Report: What’s the Secret to Thriving in the Age of AI?

It’s impossible to ignore the dramatic rise of artificial intelligence and how it’s changing the way we work. There’s a kind of thrill in watching these seismic shifts play out in real time. AI is making information more accessible than ever, and it feels like anyone can become an expert overnight. But as someone who’s spent her career championing the stories and successes of women in tech, I’m seeing another side of this story: the mounting pressure to keep up, to understand, and to perform, even when we’re not sure we have all the answers.

Let’s be honest, AI is everywhere, and the expectation to be “AI-savvy” is growing, especially for working women juggling already-packed schedules. The reality? Not everyone feels comfortable admitting what they don’t know. A new LinkedIn report shows that one in three Aussies (37%) believe the current pace of technological change isn’t sustainable for their wellbeing. Even more telling, our younger generations, like Gen Z and Millennials, are twice as likely to exaggerate or even fib about their AI skills at work, compared to their older colleagues. If you’ve ever felt that twinge of impostor syndrome or worried that you should know more about AI than you do, you’re definitely not alone.

We’re also seeing this conversation bubble up in unique ways online. Globally, there’s been a 60% increase on LinkedIn alone in posts about feeling overwhelmed and navigating the relentless pace of change. Add to that a 29% surge in AI-related posts, and you have a workforce that’s both excited by opportunity and quietly battling anxiety about staying relevant.

So, what’s the antidote to this pressure cooker of expectations and the myth that we have to go it alone? For me, and for so many women I speak to, the answer is simple: look to your network. There’s something beautifully “Aussie” about how we tackle challenges, when things get tough, we lean on our mates. We value collaboration, honesty, and a willingness to lift each other up.

LinkedIn Career Expert tips on how to grow confidence through your network

1. Be Honest About What You Don’t Know

We gain so much more when we admit what we’re still learning. Don’t be afraid to reach out to those in your circle and ask, “How did you get comfortable using AI tools in your work?” or, “Which resources did you find most helpful?” Vulnerability isn’t a weakness, it’s the doorway to authentic growth and useful support.

2. Expand Beyond Your Immediate Circle

Don’t limit your learning to the people you already know. The digital age makes it easier than ever to connect with creators, industry leaders, and fellow professionals who are generously sharing their advice on AI, career strategy, entrepreneurship, and more. New LinkedIn Shows, like  AI in ActionFounder’s BlueprintSmall Business Builders, or The CEO Playbook, are brimming with insights that make learning less overwhelming and more actionable for your goals.

3. Take the Wheel of Your Own Upskilling

Yes, networking and community matter but you’re in the driver’s seat of your own growth. Take advantage of free LinkedIn Learning courses like Nano Tips for Effective Networking at Work or Super Connecting: The Secret of Professional Networking. And keep your eyes peeled for live events like LinkedIn’s AI in Work Day on September 30, which promises a practical roadmap for integrating AI into your everyday. To sign up for more information, click here.

4. Protect Your Wellbeing While You Grow

It’s easy to forget that upskilling should empower, not exhaust. Set boundaries around your learning, take breaks, and remember that you don’t have to master everything at once. It’s okay to say “not yet” instead of “not ever.”

The Bottom Line

AI may be reshaping the world at breakneck speed, but the wisdom to navigate it comes from each other. As information becomes a commodity, it’s our communities, our colleagues, mentors, and friends, who help us filter the noise and make confident choices. So next time you feel pressure to know it all, remember: the secret to thriving isn’t just in algorithms or upskilling, but in the uniquely Aussie instinct to lean on your network and grow together.

Here’s to making space for honesty, support, and that unbeatable sense of “we’ve got this” because we’re stronger, and smarter, together.

At Less Than $250, This At-Home LED Face Mask Has No Business Being as Good as It Is

At Less Than 0, This At-Home LED Face Mask Has No Business Being as Good as It Is

If you’ve ever scrolled past those glowing Instagram stories of celebrities lounging with futuristic light-up face masks, you’ve probably might have assumed those treatments were out of reach. Or, at least outrageously expensive. And, truthfully, you wouldn’t be wrong. But, someone forgot to pass the memo to the Nanoleaf LED Light Therapy Face Mask, which is punching well above its weight and delivering one of the most impressive, at-home devices for under $250.

With seven different colour treatment modes, the Nanoleaf LED Light Therapy Face Mask is built to tackle everything from fine lines and wrinkles to acne, dark spots, inflammation and uneven texture. In fact, it packs three times the LEDs of other at-home masks, so the results actually stick.

So, what makes LED therapy so effective? This is where the science gets seriously satisfying. Each wavelength of light triggers your skin’s natural healing processes – boosting cellular energy, stimulating collagen production, and improving circulation. The outcome is skin that looks smoother, brighter, and more resilient. Red light targets wrinkles, yellow light tackles inflammation, and white light goes for deep repair. Bonus: the mask uses Near Infrared Light (NIR) for deeper penetration, working below the surface to boost repair and circulation where your regular creams can’t reach.

The mask itself is sleek, wearable, and rechargeable. No tangled wires, no awkward positioning and no spa appointment required. Treatment sessions are short (5–10 minutes, 3–5 times a week), making it a perfect addition to your morning or evening routine. There’s even a handy controller attached so you can adjust the light mode, intensity, and duration without fumbling through an app. Unlike other devices that make you commit to 20-30 minutes per session, the Nanoleaf mask lets you get the benefits in a fraction of the time.

Nanoleaf LED Light Therapy Face Mask

With consistent use, most users report noticeable improvements in skin texture and tone in four to six weeks, though some start seeing subtle changes in as little as two weeks. Full benefits are typically achieved after 8–10 weeks, and you’ll find your usual skin care products go further when applied post-treatment. (Pro tip: always use the mask on clean, bare skin—otherwise the light can’t reach your cells effectively.)

What really sets this mask apart, though, is the combination of medical-grade materials, FDA clearance, and clinically-proven technology. At this price point, it’s almost absurd how much performance you’re getting. From tackling fine lines and dark spots to reducing irritation and acne, it’s basically a multi-step spa routine condensed into a lightweight, portable device. And let’s be honest: it looks seriously cool, too. Sitting under a soft rainbow of LEDs, it’s hard not to feel like you’re in a sci-fi movie—but one where your skin comes out flawless.

Nanoleaf’s LED Face Mask is proof that effective skincare doesn’t need to be complicated or exorbitantly priced. With just a few minutes per session, you’re delivering professional-grade photobiomodulation therapy at home, making it perfect for anyone who wants serious results without leaving the house. Whether your focus is anti-aging, acne control, or just an overall glow-up, this mask covers all bases—and does so in a way that actually fits into a busy lifestyle.

In a crowded market of at-home beauty gadgets, the Nanoleaf LED Face Mask is advanced enough to satisfy beauty tech enthusiasts and straightforward enough for anyone dipping their toes into LED therapy for the first time. And at $249.99 AUD, it feels like a steal for what you’re getting: deeper penetration, multiple treatment modes, shorter session times, and visible, measurable results.

So, if you’ve been hesitant to try LED light therapy because of cost, complexity, or intimidation factor, consider this your sign. The Nanoleaf LED Light Therapy Face Mask makes professional-level treatments approachable, effective, and, frankly, fun. Your skin will thank you—and you might just find yourself looking forward to those glowing five-minute moments more than your coffee.

TL.DR. Here’s a recap of the Nanoleaf LED Light Therapy Face Mask

  • 7 Targeted Treatment Modes
  • Clinically Proven LED Therapy
  • Deeper Penetration with Near Infrared Light (NIR)
  • FDA Cleared, Medical-Grade Materials
  • Rechargeable & Portable
  • Treatment Time: 5–10 minutes per session
  • RRP $249.99

Fast Food and Feel-Good Feasts … What Aussies are Ordering Online in 2025

Fast Food and Feel-Good Feasts … What Aussies are Ordering Online in 2025

Life can be chaotic, cluttered and completely cray-cray. A total dog’s breakfast if you will. (And that’s before you even remember you actually have to find time to feed your furry friend!). Somewhere between juggling work, mates, and pretending you’ve got your life together, the concept of cooking dinner, falls into the forget- it file. However, when you’re hungry, not all superheros wear capes. Sometimes they come in fast food delivery bags.

In fact, according to DoorDash’s 2025 Delivery Trends Report, ordering in isn’t just about skipping the grocery shop anymore – it’s indulgence, convenience, and emotional survival all rolled into one. These insights are part of the broader picture of Australian Online Food Delivery Trends, revealing just how much Aussies rely on delivery to get through the week.

For example, weekends are all about treating yourself – and Aussies are fully on board. By the time Friday arvo rolls around, hitting “order” feels like a well-earned pat on the back for surviving another mad week. And, they’re not alone – 73% of Aussies now see delivery as self-care. Whether you’re unwinding after a hectic day at work, surviving the kids’ latest meltdown, or just celebrating not crying into your keyboard, a hot feed on your doorstep is pure bliss.

Cravings are the secret puppet master here. And, Aussies are happy to give in. A whopping 91% admit they’ve ordered just to scratch that “I need it now” itch. From buttery garlic naan to honey chicken, dim sum to potato scallops, comfort food rules the roost. Regional quirks are a laugh too. South Aussies go pasta-crazy, Victorians are all about chocolate and ice cream, Queenslanders hoard fried chicken like it’s gold, and New South Wales… pizza, burgers, and fried chicken reign supreme. Basically, go on – let your taste buds have a party.

Women are leading the charge when it comes to weekend indulgences and alcohol. More women than men are ordering McDonald’s (“I’m Lovin’ It”) and ice cream for delivery. And, embracing low- and no-alcohol options for nights in. Think zero-proof cocktails that still feel like a treat. Gen Z is leaning hard into the sober-curious vibe, with 93% ordering low- or no-alcohol drinks in the past six months. Basically, Aussies want the fun without the hangover.

Australian Online Food Delivery Trends
Door Dash has revealed the latest Australian Online Food Delivery Trends .. And there’s a lot to “taco” bout

Meanwhile, Gen Z’s wellness obsession is driving orders for bone broth (+23%), vegan meals (+19%), and gluten-free options (+20%). Convenience meets clean eating – because apparently you can have your kale salad and your garlic naan too. And blokes? 28% are happy to pass off delivery as homemade – the “I totally cooked this” bluff is alive and well.

Social media continues to call the shots. Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok – if it’s trending online, Aussies are ordering it. Over half have caved to a viral dish, from pistachio cocktails to matcha-swirled croissants. Gen Z and Millennials prove that if it looks good on the ‘gram, it’s going straight into your cart.

Tech in the kitchen is also a mixed bag. Aussies are happy for apps to suggest meals, but only 14% fully trust a robot to cook their grub. Men are three times more likely than women to hand over their meals to a machine – but let’s be honest, nothing beats pressing “order” and hearing “your meal is on its way!”

Delivery isn’t a once-in-a-blue-moon affair either. Repeat orders, multi-order days, and weekly deliveries are the new normal – especially for Gen Z. And for those who care about Mother Earth, eco-friendly packaging and locally sourced ingredients are winning hearts – because even when you’re ordering in, being kind to the planet is still a flex.

So whether it’s for self-care, cravings, convenience, or a cheeky combo of all three, Aussies are embracing delivery like pros. From indulgent comfort foods to mindful wellness picks, viral treats, and even zero-proof celebratory cocktails, the takeaway is clear – ordering in isn’t lazy – it’s essential. And it tastes even better when you don’t have to wash the dishes.

A Smartphone That Keeps Kids Safe Without Driving Parents Crazy

A Smartphone That Keeps Kids Safe Without Driving Parents Crazy

Between stranger danger, social media pressure, and the endless parade of inappropriate content, parenting in the digital age is basically a circus act, and you’re juggling phones, tablets, and your sanity. Cue the HMD Fuse protected with HarmBlock+ – the world-first smartphone designed for children that actually keeps them safe online. Finally, a phone that won’t make you want to cry into your latte.

HMD, the folks behind the classic Nokia you probably smashed into the wall at some point, has teamed up with online safety pros SafeToNet to create a device that actually delivers on safety. HarmBlock AI, built deep into the operating system (not an app, not floating in the cloud where your child could hack it), stops nude and sexual content from appearing on the screen, being photographed, shared, or stored. Experts are calling it “pornography incompatible.” In parent terms: peace of mind served hot.

The HMD Fuse didn’t just magically appear. It was born from the Better Phone Project, a massive co-design initiative that consulted 37,000 parents and kids worldwide, including Aussie families. The brief was simple: make a phone that protects, grows with kids, and isn’t a nightmare for parents to manage. The result? A smartphone that feels like it’s designed by someone who actually understands family life.

From the moment you power it on, the HMD Fuse is in lockdown mode – no apps, no camera, no contacts beyond what you approve. Gradually, as your child proves they can handle it, you can unlock music apps, messaging, or web access. Think of it as a “grow-with-me” phone, a digital training wheels system that keeps kids safe while teaching them to navigate the online world responsibly.

Parents get control that actually works. Want to set screen-time limits? Check. Schedule tech-free homework hours? Check. Block apps your child hasn’t earned yet? Check. Keep track of where they are with real-time location updates and safe-zone alerts? Double check. Whitelist contacts so only trusted friends and family can call or message? Triple check. It’s like helicopter parenting without the guilt.

And, the need is real. Recent HMD research found that 32% of Australian kids have been shown or sent sexual or violent content, 43% have been contacted by strangers online, and 21% have had a stranger try to lure them into private chats. Nearly half of children have stumbled across content that scared or upset them. Parents are stressed, kids are at risk, and traditional smartphones weren’t built to protect them. HMD Fuse changes all that.

Just to prove it’s not all doom and gloom, HMD has added a bit of fun. The phone comes with two LED light ring inbox covers made from 100% recycled TPU. Selfies, video calls, or TikTok moments are now stylish and safe. Finally, a phone that says “you can play, but you cannot break the internet.”

Priced at $799 and available from Harvey Norman and Officeworks from August 28, 2025, the HMD Fuse protected with HarmBlock+ is more than just a phone – it’s a safety net, a teaching tool, and a tiny lifeline for parents everywhere.

No parent should have to choose between connection and protection. With HMD Fuse, you don’t have to. It’s a smartphone designed for kids, but built for the adults who still remember what it’s like to sleep through the night.

She’s Unstoppable: Sage Robbins on Love, Presence, and the Power of Choosing a Kinder Way

She’s Unstoppable: Sage Robbins on Love, Presence, and the Power of Choosing a Kinder Way

Sage Robbins is a philanthropist, speaker, and wife of life coach Tony Robbins, took the virtual stage at the She’s Unstoppable Summit this week to guide nearly half a million women through a journey of rediscovery. Known for her heart-centered approach, Sage blends personal stories with practical tools to help women live with greater presence, love, and joy.

At the She’s Unstoppable Summit, Sage Robbins went far deeper than motivation, and talked about reawakening.

“We’re in an era of unstoppable women,” she began. “But it’s meaningful and important how we rise. Our true power is our capacity to love. And that power lives inside of you, inside of me.”

The summit, an immersive three-day experience, was described by Robbins as a collective rebirth. For her, this wasn’t just about ambition or achievement. It was about connection to self, to one another, and to the often-forgotten wisdom of the heart.

Sage Robbins’ Five Keys to a Beautiful Life

Sage Robbins
Sage Robbins. Credit: She’s Unstoppable

Sage shared what she calls her five keys: daily practices to live with more ease, fulfillment, and grace. They weren’t lofty or abstract, but simple, intentional choices designed to shift how we experience life.

  1. Choose to tidy up – no junk in.
Just as we’re mindful of what we eat, Sage reminded the audience to watch what we feed our minds. Years ago, she recalls catching herself filling long flights with celebrity gossip magazines in Sydney, Australia. “What am I doing this for?” she wondered. That day, she put them back on the shelf and began nourishing her mind with books that uplifted her spirit.
  2. Choose harmony – no junk out.
Words matter. Complaints, gossip, and negativity, she explains, drain us and those around us. Instead, she urges women to catch themselves mid-thought and ask: Where’s the blessing here? By shifting the language we use, we open the door to more joy and appreciation.
  3. Choose presence.
In a world of constant distraction, Sage called on women to reclaim the intimacy of the moment. “Sometimes, when we’re searching for purpose, we miss the intimacy of who is right in front of us,” she said. From walking with her parents through illness to holding space for loved ones, she stressed that being fully present is one of the greatest gifts we can give.
  4. Choose community.
The summit itself was proof of this power. Thousands of women, across continents, lifting each other with encouragement, wisdom, and support. “The collective,” she said, “is not just shaping us, it’s transforming us.”
  5. Choose to be a blessing.
Above all, she urges women to see themselves as givers of light. Whether through kind words, encouragement, or simply showing up authentically, “we bless one another’s lives,” she adds.

Sage Robbins: “I’m Just a Mom”

One of the most moving moments came when Robbins shared a recent visit with her mother, who is living with dementia. This was particularly pertinent as I am writing this after visiting my own 84 year old mother and mum of five children in hospital in her final stages of life.

Sage choked up as she recalled a. precious moment where her mother “…looked at me and said, ‘Why am I such a nervous Nelly? Why do I feel scared all the time? I’m just a mom.’”

Her lovely message was that no role, no title, no identity is “just” anything. “Mom, you’re not just a mom,” she reminded her beautiful mum. “You’re a giver, a lover, a creator of beauty. You’ve guided, supported, and shown me what love looks like. I am who I am because of you.”

For every women in the audience, this struck a chord. How often do we diminish our gifts, dismissing them as ordinary, when in truth they are extraordinary acts of love?

Mom, you’re not just a mom. You’re a giver, a lover, a creator of beauty. I am who I am because of you.”

Sage Robbins

A Collective Awakening

As the summit drew to a close, Sage’s reminder was that transformation doesn’t happen in a single podcast episode, yoga class, or inspirational event. It takes immersion. It takes commitment. And it takes community.

“We’ve barely scratched the surface,” she said. “But from this place, you can create the new beginning you long for. You can have the love, the freedom, the joy you desire. Because this, this aliveness you feel, is who you truly are beneath all the layers.”

The She’s Unstoppable Summit was a call to rise, not by force, but through love, kindness, and the courage to choose differently.

Sage Robbins’s Wise Words: What I Loved Most

“Our true power is our capacity to love. And that power lives inside of you, inside of me.”

“Becoming aware of the junk we put into our minds is just as important as what we put into our bodies.”

“If you hear something coming out of your mouth that isn’t aligned with your heart, catch yourself, tidy it up.”

“Sometimes, when we’re searching for purpose, we miss the intimacy of the moment and the person right in front of us.

Boost Mobile Turns 25 … But You’re The One Who Gets The Presents

Boost Mobile Turns 25 … But You’re The One Who Gets The Presents

The year was 2000. Sydney’s Olympic Games were in full swing. All Y2K concerns had been allayed. And, a new mobile provider had just joined the game.

Now, in 2025, said provider, Boost Mobile just hit a big milestone. Twenty five years in the game. A quarter century of prepaid chaos. And a whole lot of value.

The story began in 2000. A couple of founders overheard a surfer at Avalon talking about “boosting a wave.” The name stuck. The logo followed, a mix of wave and ramp, cementing a connection to boards, tricks, and speed. From the start, Boost wasn’t just another telco. It was a brand with grit, cheek, and a mission to keep things simple.

Unlimited talk and text? Boost rolled it out early. Refurbished phones on prepaid? Boost again. eSIM before you had to explain it to your mates? Boost. Long-expiry prepaid plans that meant more value, less stress? You guessed it. The company carved a lane, stayed in it, and made it work.

That lane also meant staying plugged into the culture. Boost backed athletes, plastered logos at action sports events, and made sure the brand vibe matched the lifestyle of its customers. The network mattered, but so did the energy. That balance is what made it stand out.

Fast forward to today. Boost runs on the full coverage of the Telstra Prepaid Mobile Network, giving customers the reach of one of Australia’s biggest telcos without lock-ins or fine print headaches. Switching your number takes minutes. Customers stick around because of three words: value, reliability, trust.

Bobby Geldens, Boost Mobile CEO, puts it down to staying authentic. Keep the deals sharp. Keep the coverage strong. And, keep customers first. Simple.

And, because no birthday is complete without presents, Boost has stacked up offers for anyone keen to join. New customers get 25% extra data on the $300 SIM. Every 28-day plan comes with 25GB bonus data if you activate by 6 October. The $49 and $300 SIMs are also marked down to $17 and $250. You’ll even find more deals online and sitting quietly on supermarket shelves across the country.

So here we are. Boost Mobile, Australia’s OG mobile challenger, 25 years in. The longest-running continuous MVNO in the country. Still cheeky. Still sharp. And, still keeping things easy for people who just want their phone to work without fuss.

The Bitzee Hamster Ball is Your Tamagotchi’s Cute 2025 Cousin

The Bitzee Hamster Ball is Your Tamagotchi’s Cute 2025 Cousin

Alongside Discmans and retro mobile telephones sans smart cameras, there are some things anyone born post-1988 will never truly understand. So, when my six-year-old nephew looked at me blankly as I tried to recount the thrill of owning a digital pet (aka the Tamagotchi), I did the next best thing and introduced him to its 2025 cousin: the Bitzee Hamster Ball.

Unlike the pixelated pets of the ’90s that demanded constant attention (and sometimes a shameful amount of panic when they “died” on your watch), the Bitzee Hamster Ball lives beyond the screen. Infact, this little critter doesn’t just exist – it rolls, spins, and reacts to touch and movement, turning your living room into an interactive playground. Nudge it, tilt it, or gently flick it, and it chirps, squeaks, and scurries in response. It’s like having a hamster that talks back… in the most charmingly digital way possible.

Each Bitzee journey begins with a baby hamster. Users can feed, pet, and exercise their Bitzee, helping it grow through three life stages: baby, teen, and super Bitzee. Along the way, they’ll discover tasty treats, cool items, and 20 friends to collect, each with their own unique personality and theme.

The Ball isn’t just about movement either. It reacts to sound and light, making it feel alive in an almost magical way. Speak to it and watch it perk up, dash toward you, or perform little tricks. Drop it into its play arena and it’ll explore, roll around, and even interact with obstacles – sometimes bumping, sometimes pausing, always keeping you on your toes. And yes, it’s perfect for solo play, but it’s even better in multiplayer mode, where two Bitzees can “meet” and respond to each other, turning pet ownership into a mini social experience.

Players can customise their Bitzee hamster’s outfits, backdrops, and poses – snapping pictures and scrolling through looks. PPlus, five built-in mini games let you explore something new every time.

One of the best things about the Bitzee Hamster Ball is that it blends physical and digital play … unlike the Tamagotchi that lived in your pocket and occasionally made you late for school! It teaches kids coordination, timing, and a little patience, while still delivering the instant gratification of a responsive digital pet. Plus, it’s endlessly cute – the chirps, squeaks, and scuttling movements are irresistible, whether you’re four or 44 …

Watching my nephew’s excitement as the Bitzee Hamster Ball rolled across the carpet, chirping and spinning with every nudge, I realised something: nostalgia is fun, but evolution is even better. The Bitzee Hamster Ball’s combination of interactive tech, tactile play, and nostalgic charm makes it a hit with a wide range of fans – from animation lovers and fidget toy fans to STEM toy collectors. Even adults will appreciate the modern twist on the classic virtual pets of decades past. The Bitzee Hamster Ball reimagines the Tamagotchi for a generation that still loves tech but also wants something more hands-on, more lifelike, and a lot more adorable.

If you grew up on digital pets and thought those days were behind you, think again. The Bitzee Hamster Ball proves that the future of play isn’t just on a screen—it’s rolling, squeaking, and bouncing right across your living room floor. So get ready to hamster your way into a whirlwind of fun, chase those tiny tumbles, and squeak with delight—because this little ball of fluff has officially rolled its way into the hearts of both kids and the nostalgically young at heart.
